2010 Block 51 Basket Pressed Shiraz

Nose: Dark fruits and oak

Palate: Big rich and fresh fruit driven wine. Chocolate and soft tannins. The wine by which all other young Shiraz must compete. My favourite.

2010 Springton Hills Wines Rock Ridge Shiraz




Purchase: $7.50 from Crackawines

Nose: Pepper pungency and eucalyptus

Palate: Showing cooler climate characters this wine begins with quite a dry and savoury flavour profile, but develops a fruity richness and leaves you with lingering chocolate.
